VINEYARD

Hayfield Vineyards : With equal part sweat, determination and vision, the first vines were planted in 1877 on a small plot along the road to Hayfield.

From small beginnings, Australia’s ancient soils and benign climate have resulted in a unique wine style – richly flavoured and beautifully balanced.

Hayfield Vineyards creates classic varietal wines in the time honoured way, a tradition of honest and reliable quality that is important today as it was 130 years ago.

Label Notes:

Our long established vines dig deep into the ancient soils, seeking moisture in Australia's dry climate. The deep roots and naturally low yields ensure our vineyards thrive and produce intensely flavoured fruit. Our wines are rich and flavoursome, easy to appreciate and versatile with food.

The Hayfields vineyards shiraz is a classically rich and expressive Australian shiraz. Lifted aromas of red berries and spice are followed by a vibrant and full bodied palate packed with ripe blackberry and chocolate flavours. A versatile match to a wide range of red meat dishes.
