Soil: Great variety of soil types, with deep and shallow (1.2 m) profiles that contain a rugged volcanic formation that transitions from a sand loam granitic texture to a clay loam texture. Medium pH of 5.5. Vineyard: Plants of clone origin planted on their own roots and rootstock. Planted in a north-south and east-west orientation, depending on
the soil type, slope and variety. The vines are trained using a low VSP system, with pressurized irrigation. Use of precision viticulture for management and harvest.
