A specially selected clone of Sauvignon Blanc was planted in the vineyard recently, producing fruit with low yields and highly fragrant wines. This wine has punchy, tropical aroma and passionfruit flavour with good intensity and length. A clean and bright style, water white in colour and a great summer wine.Vintage in image may vary. Yarran Wines is a family owned and operated winery. The vineyards, winery and cellar door are all located in Yenda, NSW. Yenda is part of the Riverina region, the area has a long tradition for winemaking dating back to 1913 and is well reknowned for producing world class high quality wines.
Fruit has been grown on the family vineyard for 30 years, an interest to create wine from a viticultural background was developed as one of the owners began a oenology degree. The family business has since grown from producing a single Shiraz in 1998 to many different varietal table wines, rich fortified blends and also a classic Riverina Botrytis style wine (Noble Rot).
This wine is fresh and crisp showing ripe tropical, passionfruit flavours.

The juice is cold settled and clarified and fermented at low temperatures in insulated stainless steel tanks with no oak. At all times handling of the juice and wine to avoid oxidation is of great importance.
