VINEYARD

The wines from Bergerac have undergone a mini-renaissance in the last decade, largely due to vastly improved viticutural practices and vinification techniques. Marianne Mallard and her English husband, Philip, have 32 hectares of vineyards at Ponchapt near Montravel in the Bergerac region. 75% of the vineyards are planted with Merlot and the remaining with Cabernet Sauvignon.
